Neil Banerjee, Esq. 

Neil Banerjee has practiced exclusively in family law since becoming a licensed attorney, and he worked as a law clerk in family law for over a year total before becoming licensed.  He has experience resolving issues arising out of divorce, legal separation, paternity matters, custody, child and spousal support, post-judgment modification and enforcement, domestic violence restraining orders, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, and mediation.  He has a strong desire to help all his clients achieve their goals while always being mindful of the need to accomplish this in the most cost-effective manner for the client. 

 

Mr. Banerjee did his undergraduate studies at University of California-Berkeley, and then studied law at Santa Clara University School of Law.  He was member of the U.C. Berkeley Men’s Boxing Team from 1995-2000, is still very active in men’s basketball leagues, and also loves to play golf.  

 

Neil is an active member of the Southern California legal community. He is a member of the State Bar of California, Los Angeles County Bar Association, Pasadena Bar Association, and the Family Law section of the Los Angeles County Bar Association. 

 

Prior to attending law school, Neil was a high school math teacher in the inner city (Inglewood area), and he feels a strong duty to help others. He is currently an active volunteer with the Domestic Violence Project, which provides free legal assistance to victims of domestic violence throughout Los Angeles. His worked as a mentor to underprivileged youth through the YMCA while attending U.C. Berkeley, and his goal in life is to work with foster kids.
